You can permanently delete your cotalk account and all data associated with it at any time.
Delete Your Account in the App
- Open cotalk and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion takes effect immediately: you are signed out everywhere and your account can no longer be used.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account (email, display name, avatar)
- All voice recordings and per-message audio segments
- Transcripts and conversation history
- Composed episodes and their chapter data
- Your agent and room settings (including voice configurations)
Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. Copies of episodes you exported and published elsewhere are outside our control and must be removed from those platforms separately. We may retain minimal records where required by law (e.g. payment records kept by the app stores).
Request Deletion by Email
If you can no longer access the app, email finn.guo@icloud.com from the address associated with your account with the subject "Delete my cotalk account". We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.
